Facility Details

• 61,000 annual patient visits in Main Emergency Department
• 16,000 annual patient visits in Pediatric Emergency Department
• 42-bed Emergency Department:
  • 5 fast-track beds
  • 5 monitored beds
  • 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric trauma bay
• Physician coverage: 70 total hours daily (Main ED and Pediatric ED)
• APP coverage: 60 hours daily
• Admission rate: 26%

• Comprehensive Stroke Facility with biplane technology
• Interventional cardiac catheterization facility
• Code Ice facility with therapeutic hypothermia capability
• Dedicated ED GlideScopes
• Ultrasound machines available
• 24-hour in-house Hospitalist coverage
• 24-hour in-house Intensivist coverage
• No floor code responsibilities
• No consult responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients
• Manage high-acuity emergency conditions in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Perform standard Emergency Medicine procedures
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, APPs, specialists, and hospital teams
