Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Location: Cudahy, CA Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a plant environment. Responsibilities Repair leaks, inspect, dispose of defective cylinders, and paint cylinders. Test, repair, and convert cylinders, and receive new cylinders and supplies with a focus on continuous improvement. Operate forklift to move product throughout facility. Perform general cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred. Proficiency in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks. Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers, and maintain certification requirements. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills ensuring accountability. Strong safety commitment and active contribution to a safety culture. Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally. Willingness to work overtime. Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity.
