Civil/Structural Design Engineer
Seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to support engineering design modifications and plant modernization projects at a nuclear facility.
Requirements:
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related degree
- 10+ years of nuclear industry engineering experience
- Experience with Civil/Structural design modification packages
- Strong knowledge of nuclear industry design processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access
Responsibilities include developing engineering change packages, structural calculations, design specifications, safety evaluations, field engineering support, design revisions, seismic and foundation evaluations, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. This role may require occasional support during off-normal implementation hours.
