Description This role involves fabricating precision parts and components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Description of Key Responsibilities: Operate manual milling machines, lathes, and other machining tools to produce precision parts. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate components accurately. Utilize micrometers and calipers for quality control checks. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machine operation is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills for recording and reporting production data.
