Position Overview

This is a rapid response position offering a guaranteed 40 hours over a 6-week period. The ideal candidate will possess the required certifications and skills to contribute effectively in a dynamic Cath Lab environment.

Unit Information

Location: Margate, FL

Unit: Cath Lab

Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room

Staffing: 22 personnel including RNs and Techs

• Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room (16 total per shift)
• Night Shift: On-call team with 3 per call team (7 total)

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Equipment: All GE rooms

EMR: Meditech and MacLab

Required Skills and Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Competence in Special Procedures and GE Innova

Preferred Skills

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a close-knit environment. A focus on critical thinking and patient care is essential, as well as the ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the unit. Flexibility regarding on-call duties is a must.

Dress Code

Unit-specific attire in red and gray is required, although unit scrubs may be used.
