Title: Senior Legacy Modernization Developer

Contract with potential extension

Location: Orlando, FL (Remote)

Backend & Full-Stack Development

3-6 years of hands-on experience building production-grade full-stack applications using Java (8+) and Spring Boot (or equivalent).
Strong backend skills including REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL); NoSQL experience is a plus.
Experience building event-driven or streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Reactor).

Python & AI Engineering

Strong Python development experience using Flask or FastAPI.
Hands-on experience with GenAI and modern AI workflows, including:
- Working with LLMs and agents
- Prompt and context engineering
- Integrating AI capabilities into production applications
Experience taking AI-centric systems to production, including deployment, monitoring, performance, scalability, and stability.

Frontend & UX Integration

Experience delivering client-side UIs using React (preferred) or Angular/Vue.
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience integrating frontend and backend systems, especially for AI-driven user experiences.

Cloud & Engineering Practices

Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on Azure.
Familiarity with enterprise engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.

Enterprise Experience

Experience working in large, complex organizations, collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
