As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will help people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals. Location Charlotte, North Carolina Compensation $17.00/hour Available Schedules Part Time: 7:00AM-7:00PM every other weekend and Tuesday/Thursday 7:00AM-2:00PM - 26 Hours. Part Time: 7:00AM-7:00PM every other weekend and Wednesday/Thursday 1:00PM-8:00PM - 26 Hours. Full Time: 7:00AM-7:00PM every other weekend and Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 7:00AM-2:00PM - 40 Hours. Full Time: 7:00AM-7:00PM every other weekend and Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 1:00PM-8:00PM - 40 Hours. Responsibilities Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toiletry, and diaper changing. Offer employment support and transfer clients to appointments as needed. Help plan and organize client schedules. Complete daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system. Qualifications Entry-level; on-the-job training provided. High school diploma or GED required. Basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocol knowledge. Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability. Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
