Job Description

This is a hybrid position in the Tukwila site that will require traveling to see patients in hospital, clinical setting and/or homes as needed. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification, or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
• 1 year hospital and/or home care experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enteral/parenteral nutrition.
• Pediatric, adult and geriatric experience.
• Development of nutrition related forms and policies and procedures.
