We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond.Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Front Office ManagerJob SummaryThe front desk agent at Caravan Court facilitates guest request completion and oversees the daily check in and check out process for hotel guests.Essential Duties & FunctionsOperational ResponsibilitiesLog all guest requests into portalCommunicate updates and correspondence with guestsPerform check in and check out tasks according to hotel standardsComplete daily front desk checklistAdhere to core standardsGuest ServicesAnticipate and attend to guest needsReport all incidents according to company guidelinesStore guest luggage and document appropriatelyReceive and store guest packagesAdminister lost and found per company guidelinesTeam Support and TrainingAttend and contribute to department meetingsParticipate in cross trainingComplete all required trainingsCommunication and ReportingFacilitate all internal communications and follow up accordinglyRun all reports necessary to the operationComplete full shift pass on reportsSafety & ComplianceAdhere to all safety and security guidelinesQualificationsEssential Skills and Qualifications· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Effective time management and problem-solving skills· Proficiency in Microsoft applications· Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail· Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities· Effective computer skillsPhysical Requirements· Sitting: Short periods of time· Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours· Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 20 poundsWorking Environment· Interior: Majority of time spent in front desk building· Exterior: Escorting guests to required areas of the hotelBasics· Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas· Display courteous behavior with guests and team members· Report any unsafe conditions immediately· Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition· Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisorCandidate Profile· Education and Experienceo Hotel or Office administration experience preferredo No minimum education requirements required
