Assembler IPomona, CA 91767Job DescriptionJSG is seeking an Assembler I for an onsite, temp to hire position for our established manufacturing client in the Greater Rancho Cucamonga area. Under the close supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler I cleans and details parts and machines using physical strength and a variety of hand and power tools. Job duties include cleaning and detailing parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools, following mechanical blueprint instructions to detailing, advising the Lead or Supervisor of all problems, following specific directions for detailing of parts, scanning jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems, following all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines, distinguishing between parts and the detailing, and moving parts and components to the various departments on traveler. Must meet deadlines and perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, mechanical ability and knowledge preferred, ability to follow specific directions, ability to use power tools such as grinders, sanders, buffers, knowledge of safety procedures, and possessing effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines.
