ServiceNow Technical Consultant

Position Summary

Pivot Path Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Lead Technical Consultant to lead the technical delivery of a Defense Health Agency pilot for its Portfolio Management Ecosystem. The consultant will configure a vendor-hosted, off-network ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) environment using Government-furnished synthetic data. The goal is to demonstrate how DHA leaders could view and manage portfolio information across the enterprise.

This role will lead configuration, data mapping, dashboards, technical demonstrations, and issue resolution. The consultant will work with the project manager, DHA stakeholders, and other technical staff to deliver a functional pilot within 14 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, configuration, and administration of the ServiceNow SPM pilot environment.
• Configure records, forms, views, workflows, dashboards, and reports for Government-defined pilot scenarios.
• Map and ingest synthetic datasets; validate the results and document mapping decisions, assumptions, and limitations.
• Develop executive dashboards and reporting views that demonstrate portfolio status and support decision-making.
• Demonstrate relevant platform capabilities across portfolio management; financial and resource management; acquisition and contract management; IT and service management; operational support; and analytics.
• Use supported, pilot-appropriate configuration and clearly identify capabilities that would require additional products, integration, or future development.
• Support Government-led user evaluation, walkthroughs, and the final pilot demonstration.
• Investigate technical issues, incorporate feasible user feedback, and document resolution plans and remaining limitations.
• Contribute technical content to the project plan, configuration documentation, demonstration materials, and final pilot report.
• Maintain configuration integrity and work in accordance with ServiceNow OEM requirements and support practices.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow for federal or Department of Defense clients .
• Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in Strategic Portfolio Management or a related area, such as IT Service Management .
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, data modeling, workflow automation, and implementation best practices.
• Experience leading technical discussions, explaining platform capabilities to nontechnical stakeholders, and resolving implementation issues.
• Ability to support on-site meetings in Falls Church, Virginia, when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience implementing ServiceNow SPM and configuring portfolio dashboards and executive reporting.
• Experience with data imports, field mapping, validation, and synthetic-data demonstrations.
• Experience delivering time-constrained federal pilots or proofs of concept.
• Familiarity with DHA or DoD project environments.
