Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of previous Labor and Delivery experience is required. Circulating experience is required. High-risk experience is required. Experience within the last year at larger high-volume delivery centers with 200-300 deliveries per month is required. High acuity experience is required. License: Active Iowa nursing license is required. Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. Certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses for fetal monitoring is required. Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program is required. Must-Have: Comfortable floating to postpartum 1-2 shifts a week. Work history or resume must show 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience. Skills checklist must be specific to Labor and Delivery. Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, or director from within the last 24 months is preferred. Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients. The candidate may be asked to float within the same discipline. Local candidates are not allowable, and all candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility. We are quickly interviewing viable candidates via phone call or text.
