Job Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting client intake and assessments, gathering relevant information to support service planning.
• Help maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Assists with coordination of client supplies, room check support, psychoeducation groups, dinner preparation, crisis situations and emergencies as needed. Provide administrative support, including not limited to billing tasks, scheduling appointments, managing communications, and coordinating meetings.
• Facilitate client access to resources and services by providing information and referrals as needed. Participate in outreach activities to promote programs and engage with the community.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and team members as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success.

Physical Requirements

• Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day
• Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time
• Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Other Requirements

• Comply with program and/or requirements related to: background check, fingerprinting, DMV check, FBI/State fingerprints, DCFS CANTS, 40 Hours of Domestic Violence Training preferred

Additional Requirements

• Driver's license

Education and Experience Requirements

• Minimum H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Entry level
• Preferred Associate's Degree (AA) in a related field of study 1-3 years relevant experience

Certifications and Licensure

• Preferred 40 DV training certification, CPR/First Aid certified

In compliance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003 (820 ILCS 112/5, et seq.), Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is required to provide the wages and benefits that it reasonably expects in good faith to offer for any specific job positions posted.
