Wellness and Nutrition Manager

Wellness & Nutrition Manager Position Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, 261-day calendar year. Compensation: $7,464.19–$8,924.71 Monthly (Step 1–5). Recruitment Type: Open and Promotional. Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, the Wellness & Nutrition Manager serves as the Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist (RDN) for the district’s Food Services Program. Description Oversee the nutritional quality and compliance of school meals, ensuring menus meet NSLP and CDE guidelines. Supervise cafeteria operations and lead the district’s wellness committee to develop and implement wellness policies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification issued by the California Commission on Dietetic Registration. Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe). Minimum of 2 years of experience in school nutrition programs, food service management, or nutritional analysis. Strong knowledge of NSLP, CDE, and other relevant guidelines/regulations. License Requirements Valid California driver’s license.
