Electric General Foreman

Rabalais is seeking an Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical projects, supervises electricians, ensures compliance with codes, and manages materials, schedules, and safety.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan, direct, and supervise the work of electricians, including training, assigning tasks, and inspecting work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standardsReview construction documents, prepare cost estimates, requisition materials, and coordinate with contractors, municipalities, and inspectors to ensure timely project completionDiagnose electrical issues, maintain and repair electrical systems, draw sketches for installations, and ensure adherence to electrical codes and standardsMaintain work orders, prepare weekly and annual reports, manage budgets, and document project progressEnforce safety practices, comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.QualificationsTypically requires a relevant degree or technical certification in electrical engineering, industrial technology, or a related fieldProven experience in electrical work, project management, and supervising teams of electriciansAbility to lift, push, or pull heavy objects, work in high elevations, crawlspaces, or trenches, and perform physically demanding tasksProficiency in electrical codes, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and use of electrical tools and equipmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage personnel and coordinate with multiple stakeholdersBenefitsWe offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
