ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and experience to provide exceptional care to our patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, responding effectively to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate.
- CCRN certification preferred.
- Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent preferred.
