Medical Biller

Job Description Description: The Biller is responsible for managing the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance and processing payments for patients. Essential Functions: Looking for medical billing, collections, accounts receivable experience. Posts daily office visit and surgery charges Charge corrections and adjustments when necessary Work accounts receivable and denial reports Analyze patient accounts for balances owed and credit balances Coordinate collection of outstanding monies not received during patient visits Communicate regularly with Practice Administrator regarding the status of authorizations and denials Other duties related to the position as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, and the public. Knowledge of how to use office equipment including phone, computer, copy machine Requirements: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience as a biller and EMR experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
