St. Christopher'sHospital for Children is seeking a Pediatric Dentist Attending to join our group and provide dental services to our community.

• Provide supervision of the pediatric dental residents during clinic, in operating room and conscious sedation procedures.

• Participation is required for resident didactic lectures, clinical care and evaluations.
\n
• The individual is required to actively participate in the development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.

• Individual should engage in the development and foster resident research activities.

St. Christophers Hospital for Children , a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area andsurrounding counties. With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christophers Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. St. Christophers is a Magnet designated hospital and has been recognized as a Womens Choice Award Best Childrens Hospital.

Qualifications \n

Education Requirements

\n

\n
• Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) from a CODA accredited dental school
\n
• Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
\n
• Able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania
\n
• Able to obtain dental anesthesia permit restricted I (oral conscious sedation) in the State of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.
\n
