CAD Drafter/Designer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a growing team, the contracted CAD Drafter/Designer will create precise, production-ready designs using AutoDesk Inventor, focusing on steel sheet metal components and large-scale mechanical assemblies while collaborating closely with engineers and clients in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Create 3D models, assemblies, and fabrication drawings for steel sheet metal parts Collaborate with engineers to convert concept designs into manufacturable drawings Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and coordinate with fabrication teams Required qualifications Associate's degree or technical certificate in drafting, mechanical design, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) 3-5 years of relevant experience as a CAD drafter or designer in a manufacturing or mechanical design environment Hands-on experience with AutoDesk Inventor Familiarity with steel sheet metal design and large-scale assembly design Virtual Vocations Inc
