Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Process Analytics Field Service and TrainingIn this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.The work model for the role is: Onsite in Port Arthur, TX (Open to home location in Beaumont, Orange, Port Arthur, and Lake Charles) #LI-OnsiteYour Role and ResponsibilitiesWorking with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points.Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.Responsibilities also include performing commissioning/start-up services, troubleshooting/repair services, and preventative maintenance on measurement and analytical equipment.Qualifications for the RoleBachelor's or Technical Degree with 2+ Years of experience or Associate's Degree/High School Diploma with 5+ years of relative experienceStrong technical background with technical skills in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive, and unplanned maintenance of analytical products including but not limited to continuous gas analyzers and gas chromatographs (PGC5000, PGC1000 would be a significant plus)Ability to build strong customer relationships, to work effectively with minimum supervision, demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, and be customer service orientedStrong Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, and WordAbility and willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.What's in it for you?We want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
