EVS Supervisor (Evening Shift)

A highly respected, nationally recognized hospital in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to oversee evening shift operations.

The EVS Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors, while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and infection prevention protocols.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing onsite supervision of staff, monitoring supplies and equipment, and communicating daily assignments to staff.
• Modeling and coaching team on effective use of safety equipment. Following all safety procedures when using chemicals and equipment.
• Inspecting the work of team members for compliance with prescribed standards of cleanliness, including all regulatory requirements.
• Developing and guiding employees; resolving routine employee relations issues, including corrective action; escalating and/or consulting with human resources when appropriate.
• Participating in the recruitment and selection process to ensure the team is properly staffed with appropriate skillsets.
• Onboarding and training new employees to ensure proper understanding of policies, work procedures, and use/maintenance of equipment, chemical requirements, and safe work behaviors.
• Assisting in always maintaining the environment in an "inspection ready" state.
• Maintaining excellent relations with clients, and all team members.
• When needed, supervising major projects, assuring that the employees perform their duties and have supplies available to perform such tasks.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Tuesday - Saturday

Compensation: Up to $74,000 annually
