What You'll Do

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision.
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive device use.
• Assess patient progress and collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to modify treatments as needed.
• Document all treatments and patient responses accurately within electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Participate in care conferences, meetings, and required trainings.

What You Need

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Massachusetts.
• Relevant experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical procedures related to physical therapy.
