Collections Specialist

Munck Wilson Mandala is looking to add a Collections Specialist to its accounting team in its Uptown Dallas office, reporting to the Director of Finance and Planning. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of law firm collections and accounts receivable experience utilizing Elite 3E software. Responsibilities Collaborate and communicate regularly with Attorneys, Accounting, the Revenue Services Manager, Director of Finance and Planning, and the CFO regarding collection efforts and the status of client accounts. Review assigned accounts, develop collection strategies, and establish payment plans. Locate and contact clients to initiate the recovery process. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to negotiate payments and implement payment plans. Review and process account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies, including over- and short payments. Monitor and maintain client accounts through regular calls and/or emails, providing responsive client service on collection issues. Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements to ensure compliance. Maintain accurate hard-copy and electronic records of all client communications, agreed-upon payment plans, and payments received. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Accounting department's collection efforts. Qualifications 3+ years of collections experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive client and financial information. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); experience with Elite 3E collections/accounting software a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
