Contract: 13 weeks


Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12-hour shifts


Guaranteed Hours: 36

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. This role supports a fast-paced 28-bed Emergency Department with trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms, requiring strong emergency nursing skills, quick clinical judgment, and a team-focused approach.


Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting
• Assess, triage, monitor, and respond to urgent patient conditions
• Support trauma, behavioral health, cardiac monitoring, and acute emergency care needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and collaborate with the ER care team


Requirements
• Active Hawaii Registered Nurse License Required By Start Of Assignment
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS, And PALS Certifications Required
• Procedural Sedation, TMCC, And EMPC Certifications Preferred
• Must be available for day shift, 3x12-hour schedule, holiday coverage, and required pre-start employee health appointment
