Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures, explaining each step with empathy and clarity
• Engage in collaborative efforts with radiologists and referring physicians to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately document all procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical systems
• Continuously update skills with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent qualification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
