Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of students to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique backgrounds and challenges.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and play therapy to facilitate positive behavioral changes and emotional growth.

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential client records and treatment documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring secure tracking of progress and outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, and parent representatives to create a network of support for students, promoting their overall well-being.

• Continuously research and incorporate the latest advancements in social work practice into your therapeutic approach to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, including those stemming from trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. Our specialized approach emphasizes safety, trust, and dignity, allowing young clients to explore their feelings and build resilience in a safe environment.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.

• A current, valid Licensed Mental Health Therapist license (LMSW) in New Jersey is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
