Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across K-12 classrooms as an onsite Special Education Teacher in a supportive educational setting near Vicksburg, MI. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with dedicated educators and work closely with students who benefit from individualized instruction and advocacy.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SSW license required
- Experience providing professional support within a school environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning experiences for students of varying abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions tailored to each student’s IEP goals and educational needs across K-12 grade levels
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers and related service staff
- Monitor and document student progress while adjusting instructional strategies to maximize growth and achievement
- Foster a classroom atmosphere of acceptance, encouragement, and respect
- Engage in regular communication with parents, guardians, and school stakeholders to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
