Travel Nursing Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Location: Cleveland, Ohio Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: November 13, 2026 End Date: February 12, 2027 Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Shift Times: Days, approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; nights, approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Work Setting: On-site hospital assignment Scheduling Note: Rotating shifts may be adjusted to support operational needs. Holiday coverage is required at least every other holiday. Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a permanent Ohio license or compact-state license in hand at the time of submission At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, in hand at submission Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm-recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation Comfort caring for telemetry patients and floating to comparable units, including designated emergency department assignments, when needed Ability to complete required compliance screenings, background documentation, and onboarding modules before the assignment begins Medical-Surgical Telemetry Travel Nurse Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in cardiac rhythm or clinical status, and escalate concerns appropriately Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols Monitor telemetry, document patient responses, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team Coordinate care planning, patient education, discharge preparation, and clinical updates Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to nursing standards, safety practices, and hospital policies Provide flexible coverage across designated units caring for similar patient populations as operational needs arise Apply now for this Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse travel contract in Cleveland, Ohio.
