Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician in a healthcare setting. This position involves performing and assisting with various interventional radiology procedures, operating imaging equipment, and providing necessary support to the clinical team. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, sterile techniques, and efficient procedure setup to ensure quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 3 years of experience; certifications including ARRT Radiology (ARRT R), BLS, and Kansas License (LRT); experience with Interventional Radiology procedures, PACS, sterile technique, and equipment setup; active Kansas license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adrenal Angiography, Angioplasty, Chemoembolization, and use of GE Innova IGS equipment.
- Special Requirements: GE imaging machine, EPIC EMR, PACS system, scrub color provided.
- On-call: Yes, weekday nights approximately 1-2 per week, and every 5th weekend at two designated locations.
- Float: Regular floating within scope to meet facility needs, including assisting in X-ray when IR is not busy.
- Certifications Needed: ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS, Kansas License (LRT).
- Additional Information: Position begins on 10/26/2026 and ends on 01/25/2027; onsite work at specified locations; must have GE imaging equipment experience and PACS knowledge; compliance documentation due before start date; EPIC EMR training required.
