Role Summary: MRI technologists operate MRI scanners to capture diagnostic images, ensuring clarity and accuracy for physicians. They follow safety protocols, explain procedures to patients, monitor patient well-being during scans, and assess images for abnormalities. Key Responsibilities: Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images Ensure safety standards and patient safety Explain MRI procedures to patients Monitor patients and equipment during scans Recognize image abnormalities and determine if images need retaking Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting, reaching, fine motor skills, and handling stressful situations Good vision, color discrimination, and peripheral vision Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
