Senior Supply Chain Engineer

We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Engineer with a strong background in optimizing procurement, logistics, and production planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in reducing lead times, eliminating production bottlenecks, and negotiating contracts that deliver meaningful cost savings. In this role, you will develop data-driven supply chain strategies, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure suppliers consistently meet stringent design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management: Evaluate potential suppliers, conduct capability assessments, and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve supplier performance.
• Process Optimization: Conduct data analysis and develop models to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
• Inventory & Demand Planning: Develop and implement robust forecasting models to improve demand planning accuracy and minimize inventory holding costs.
• Quality Control: Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (e.g., 8D, FMEA).

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S Citizen
• Prior Experience: 5+ years
• Work on location in Torrance, CA
• Minimum a BS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Need strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of using statistical analysis to drive down costs.
