Principal Duties and Responsibilities Work day to day with the reserving actuary team. Partner with team members to gain experience with the sophisticated process of building and leveraging actuarial models. Exposure to reserving / valuation and pricing concepts. Assist on special projects and ad‑hoc analysis. Present analytical findings to the team / business partner. Participate in networking and professional development programming. What we look for Junior or Senior status enrolled at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin‑Madison, or Notre Dame University. Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as actuarial science, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration. Non‑business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry. A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale. Completion of a minimum of one SOA or CAS actuarial exam. This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3‑4 days a week. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The hourly rate for this opportunity is $22.00.
