Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1.5 years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties, including ortho, general, neuro, vascular, and urology.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Tyler, TX
• Evening shift: 14:30–23:00, Monday–Friday (5x8 hours)
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Surgical specialties include orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology cases
• Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular, and ophthalmic experience are a plus
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience in ortho, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgical specialties required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside outside of the following TX counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
