Nurse Care Tech FT Nights - IMC (29858)

Overview Position: Nurse Care Tech - Full Time, Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). Night shift. Location: Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, Nacogdoches, TX 75961. Full benefits package. Responsibilities Performs various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Provide consistent hygienic care to assigned patients to enhance patient comfort. Linen changes completed as appropriate for patient. Take vitals on patients and document in the Electronic Medical Records. Obtain and record I&O, collect specimens, etc. on patient. Performs Accu-check glucose testing as directed and reports results to appropriate nursing staff. Qualifications Ability to Read, Write, and Communicate effectively in English (required). AHA BLS (CPR) certification (required). Successful completion of Glucometer/Point of Care Testing calls (required). Teamwork oriented, patient care centered with a positive attitude (required).
