Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 6 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute care within the last 3 years in the specialty License: RN license (WI or compact) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Basic Arrhythmia experience - Critical care experience with neuro diagnoses - Telemetry test clearance Description: We are seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a critical care unit specializing in neuro diagnoses. This unit provides comprehensive care for critically ill patients with various neurological conditions. The nurse will be responsible for strong critical thinking skills and specialized interventions. Key responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia protocols. The ideal candidate should be passionate about patient care and health improvement. Collaboration with a supportive leadership team and interdisciplinary care team is essential. Experience with special equipment like EVD and lumbar drains is required. Applicants must possess strong clinical skills in managing complex neuro cases.
