TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Travel experience highly preferred - Flexibility with holiday coverage required - Willingness to work with various staff including RNs, LPNs, and Techs Description: Holiday coverage is required. Any requests for time off during holidays must remain flexible to accommodate staffing demands. Candidates living within a certain mileage are preferred. Preference for 4x12 shifts, but candidates for 3x12 shifts will also be considered. Experience in travel is highly preferred, although candidates with permanent experience may be considered. This unit has a rapidly admitting and discharging patient flow. Staffing ratios are 1:6 for nights, and may flex to 8 patients with support. RNs will float to other medical surgical units as needed. Every other weekend work is required. Experience with a mix of medical patients is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have strong prioritization skills and great customer service. Ability to manage patient surges and increased patient ratios is essential. Candidates must possess the skills to handle various medical care aspects, including administering blood products and managing IVs. The unit values teamwork and communication among staff. Annual completion of required modules is expected. References from supervisor level are required.
