Senior Accountant Brentwood, TN$35.00 – $45.00 per hour Accounting & FinanceAbout the Opportunity – Senior AccountantWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Brentwood area. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, month-end close activities, and process improvement initiatives while working with a collaborative finance team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities – Senior AccountantPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsLead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliationsAnalyze financial results and provide insights to support business decision-makingMaintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activitiesSupport external audits and coordinate documentation requestsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencyCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and management teamsQualifications – Senior AccountantBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required5+ years of progressive accounting experience requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesAdvanced proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systemsExperience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparationExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCPA designation or CPA-track preferredExperience in a fast-paced corporate environment preferred
