Linen Attendant, Full-Time, Mid Shift

Hospital Linen Manager

Maintains the hospital's hygiene and patient comfort by managing the hospital's linen supply. Ensure that all areas of the hospital have an adequate quantity of clean linen by restocking and delivering it as needed. Reports to the management team of Environmental Services.

• Responsible for unloading deliveries of clean linen, which may involve lifting, carrying, and placing them onto shelves in the clean linen room.
• Ensures accuracy, by matching the count of linen items received with the linen items listed on the invoice.
• Restocks and delivers clean linen to various parts of the hospital, ensuring all departments have the necessary linen supplies.
• Creates invoices to ensure that charges are correct and reflect the actual quantity of linen delivered.
• Addresses discrepancies or issues with the linen delivery by contacting the linen service to make corrections.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule - Mid Shift 10:30am-8:30pm Every other Weekend 9a-5pm / Holidays

• Preferred: Completed Course Work/Program: Position requires high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Applicable Experience

• Required: Less than one year.
• Preferred: 1 - 3 years
• Working experience with hospital supplies preferred.

Prior use of automated inventory and purchasing system preferred.
