Veterinarian - Co-Owner

Are you ready to take the next step in your veterinary career—not just as a clinician, but as a practice co-owner? We're looking for a full-time DVM who wants to be a co-owner, not just an employee. Our Union Hill practice is growing steadily with a loyal client base, and we're adding a doctor who can step into real equity ownership alongside a team that already knows how to run a great hospital.

This is a partnership model, not a corporate roll‑up. You buy in, you own a meaningful stake, and you share in the practice's growth and value. Your name is on the door — and on the balance sheet.

You run the medicine

No mandated protocols. No corporate formulary telling you what to prescribe. No production quotas dictating how long you spend in an exam room.

You decide the workup. You decide the treatment plan. You decide how you practice medicine, because you're the one accountable for the outcome — and the one who benefits when patients and clients stay with you for a decade.

What you'd own and operate

• An established caseload with room to grow — you're not building from zero
• Leadership in medical decision making and clinic culture
• A voice in equipment, hiring and scheduling decisions

Compensation & equity

• Competitive base salary + production
• Distributions based on hospital performance and your equity share
• Leadership training and mentorship from experienced partners
• VPP-facilitated partner financing (loan support available)

We'll walk you through the full economics — buy‑in amount, financing options, historical distributions — early in the conversation. No surprises at the offer stage.

What we're looking for

• DVM/VMD from an AVMA‑accredited school, licensed or license‑eligible in Georgia
• Small animal general practice experience; comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry
• Genuine interest in ownership — you want to build something, not just work a shift
• The judgment and communication skills to be trusted with autonomy

Location

Canton sits in Cherokee County, Georgia, in the North Georgia foothills — about 40 miles up I-575 from Atlanta. The Etowah River runs through town, with Lake Allatoona and the Blue Ridge close by, and the county has grown 27% over the past decade.
