Maintenance Technician II (HVAC)

At Stout Management Company, our Maintenance Technicians are the heartbeat of our communities. You'll be hands-on every day-fixing, tuning, replacing, painting, and ensuring every space feels like home. From emergency calls to routine upkeep, you'll be the go-to problem solver who keeps residents happy and properties running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Refurbish, clean, and make necessary repairs to vacated apartments.
• Paint interior/exterior surfaces, fences, railings, and ironwork.
• Tackle everything from appliances, A/C units, heaters, and water heaters to plumbing fixtures, electrical components, windows, doors, and locks.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, small electrical issues, plumbing stoppages, and appliance malfunctions.
• Keep laundry rooms, mail rooms, bathrooms, offices, clubhouses, storage areas, parking lots, and walkways clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Clean, treat, and troubleshoot pool and spa equipment.
• Operate and maintain paint sprayers, A/C recovery units, power washers, key machines, landscaping blowers, and more.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, responding within 45 minutes to issues such as flooding, fire, HVAC failures, and lockouts.
• Maintain labeled, stocked, and locked maintenance spaces, follow all safety protocols, and report hazards, vandalism, or resident concerns immediately.
• Assist with groundskeeping, custodial tasks, moving equipment/furniture, and supporting other team members.

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing or a related trade
• Solid skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• EPA/HVAC (required) and CPO (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and commitment to customer service
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and pride in craftsmanship

Compensation & Benefits:

• $21.00 - $28.00 DOE
