Registered Nurse 1st and 3rd shift Hiring Bonus

Position Types: Full‑Time, Part‑Time, PRN. Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM‑2:30 PM), 2nd Shift (2:00 PM‑10:30 PM), 3rd Shift (10:00 PM‑6:30 AM). Responsibilities Evaluation of resident needs, conditions, and care, and assistance in developing nursing care plans for individual residents, including rehabilitative and restorative activities and instruction in self‑help. Professional communication with family members regarding the condition and progress of residents, including in‑person discussion and answering telephone inquiries. Direct day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long‑term care facility. Maintain a productive working relationship with other department supervisors and coordinate nursing services to ensure that daily nursing services can be performed without interruption. Make daily rounds to ensure that nursing personnel report to you are performing required duties and that nursing policies and procedures are being followed. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift. Receive/give the nursing report to/from your charge nurse colleague upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours. Request and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services for residents, as ordered by the physician and in accordance with our established procedures. Create and maintain a positive work environment. Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Active RN license in the State of Iowa. Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Experience: Entry level (0–2 years). Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision.
