Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered specializing in Pediatrics (RT PEDS) is needed in a healthcare facility in the Denver area. The role involves providing respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients. This position offers a rotating night shift schedule with the potential for traveler housing accommodations.
Job Details
- Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered, Pediatrics (RT PEDS)
- Location: Denver area (generalized for privacy), Colorado
- Schedule: Work 3-12-hour night shifts, rotating call and weekends
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC RRT), completion of an approved respiratory therapy program, valid Colorado Respiratory Therapist license, current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), at least 5 years of RT experience, Neonatal and Pediatric experience including Level 2 NICU. Flu vaccination mandatory from October 1st through April 1st.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical care and ventilator management, neonatal, and pediatric respiratory care.
- Additional Information:
- Traveler housing includes fully furnished studio apartments or small one-bedroom units.
- Travels permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
- Complete and submit required documentation and certifications to be considered for this role.
