Assembler Position
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Gun Parts/Body Tubes Assembly Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Beacher, IL
Pay Rate: $18
Shift: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday
What's the Job?
- Assemble assigned components according to assembly drawings and job requirements
- Meet production goals and ship schedules, ensuring subassemblies are ready on time
- Complete and submit necessary production paperwork at the end of each shift
- Monitor work visually to maintain quality standards and notify supervisors of nonconformance or operating difficulties
- Participate in continuous improvement processes and disassemble scrap products for salvage
What's Needed?
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions confidently
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor in all situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication, math, and basic computer skills
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, reach, lift up to 30 lbs regularly, and 40 lbs occasionally
