Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) – Kelseyville, CA

Position Details:

  • Discipline: Special Day Class (SDC) Special Education
  • Dates: August 31, 2026 – June 16, 2027
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Caseload: Middle School SDC (Grades 6–8); English and Math focus with approximately 20 students
  • Setting: Middle School

Special Education Teacher Job Description:

  • Provide specialized instruction in English and Math for middle school students with disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Differentiate instruction to meet students' academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Pay & Benefits:

Requirements:

  • Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential (required)

Interview Process:

  • 10–15 minute screening call with a Spindle recruiter
