What You’ll Do

You’ll be the face of DIX in the field — building relationships, identifying opportunities, and bringing in new freight business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Researching new markets, industries, and customer needs
• Scheduling and attending meetings with prospective clients
• Developing and executing a growth strategy focused on revenue and customer expansion
• Promoting DIX services and capabilities to new and existing customers
• Preparing sales contracts in compliance with transportation laws and regulations
• Driving sales, revenue, and long‐term customer partnerships
• Providing follow‐up support and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Building and nurturing a personal book of business
• Helping develop entry‐level staff into strong sales contributors

What You Bring

We’re looking for a confident, motivated sales professional who knows the trucking industry and understands how to win business.

Essential qualifications:

• 2+ years of outside sales experience in trucking or transportation
• Existing contacts or a book of business strongly preferred
• Proven track record of increasing sales and securing new accounts
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with GoFleet or Samsara is a plus
• Excellent time‐management and planning abilities
• Ability to build rapport quickly and professionally
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug and background checks
• BS/BA in Business, Sales, or related field preferred
