Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Family Medicine APP opening in Jefferson City, MO 30 miles to Columbia & 2 hours to St. LouisMedical Center is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a fun, busy, and team-oriented work environment. The opportunity involves full time clinic hours, Monday - Friday.This position will see Family Medicine patients for ongoing care of health conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs, practicing to the top of the licensure. This position will accumulate a panel of his/her own patients and follow them medically through the lifespan. Qualifications - Physician Assistant:

• Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
• Certified Physician Assistant (PA) certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
Qualifications - Nurse Practitioner:
• Bachelors degree in nursing is required.
• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
• Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's program or a certificate program. Must be granted a Document of Recognition from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
• Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
