Plant Manager based in our Thomaston, Ga manufacturing plant with the following responsibilities, traits, skills and experience.
- Manage all operations of the plant.
- Lead and train team leads.
- Motivate employees.
- Schedule production to consistently hit demand requirements.
- Trouble shoot chemical, electrical and mechanical issues.
- Keep plant and personnel compliant with all laws and regulations.
- Develop, modify and or work with chemists in formula development.
- Attain required plant specs and output requirement.
- Maximize plant production rate.
Requirements / Preferences
- Requires 10+ years in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Proven team leadership experience.....military leadership is a plus.
- Chemical engineering degree preferred. Mechanical or manufacturing engineering degree would suffice with strong experience in chemical manufacturing.
