JANITOR (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Position: JANITOR (full time) Location: United Lounges – O'Hare Airport, United Airlines ORDCS Terminal, Chicago, IL 60666. Schedule: Full time, 32‑40 hours per week. Availability required for morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Hourly Pay: $22.00. Key responsibilities include: Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dust and mop floors, and clean assigned areas using approved materials and equipment. Move equipment and furniture for effective cleaning and restore them to correct placement. Sanitize all surfaces and follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment. Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet. Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous janitorial, trash removal, and restroom cleaning experience required.
