Senior Accountant

We're partnering with an innovative, publicly traded organization to identify a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional seeking exposure to financial reporting, SEC filings, audit support, and technical accounting while contributing to a growing finance team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Own and support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis
• Prepare and maintain complex balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze financial results and investigate period-over-period variances
• Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reporting (10-Qs and 10-Ks)
• Coordinate audit requests and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external auditors
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accruals, estimates, and reporting requirements
• Drive process improvements and enhance accounting workflows

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within Public Accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is highly preferred
