May assist patient with computerized menu selections.**Responsibilities:*** Answers telephone and communicates any diet status information requiring immediate reaction to the Food Service Supervisor.* Performs office duties as per daily operational sequences outlined in the job routines.* May help patients in making appropriate menu selections.* Is responsible for maintaining high standards of departmental sanitation particularly in regard to sanitation in the diet office area.* Communicates orders for patient service between nursing stations and Dietary Department.* Is in charge of replenishing diet cards and diet instruction materials and re-ordering as necessary.
